My secretary and I order from you guys a lot. A few mistake here or there are no big deal (I used to work in food service, I get it) but today was truly terrible food and service.
We ordered at 1:35. I ordered my usual Cheese Tortoleni w/xtra sauce. (which they frequently mess up, but today it was prepared PERFECTLY) and she ordered Chicken Alfredo and and order of Meatballs. I am not sure what food/dish she was given, and neither was your store, but it was not Chicken Alfredo (or meatballs for that matter). It was spaghetti with red sauce, green peppers, tomato chunks and cheese. Her meatballs were not meat balls. It was sliced meat.
I called the store and the guy that answered told me that he had no clue what that food was and then he said "Do you want to talk to a manager? What? Do you want your money back or something?" I just hung up. He obviously wasn't going to be of any help. We weren't looking for money, we just wanted our food.
Also, it took an hour to get here from right up the street. I got the notice that it was out for delivery at 1:54 but it did not get here until 2:45. I called the store at 2:20 and a woman there told me that it was out for delivery and had been gone for a while. The guy then called me, wanting to know where he was supposed to go. I put the directions on the order which clearly told him exactly where to go (I know this because it is on the reciept), yet he called from (He told us he was "across the street")across the street to ask. We are the only hospital over in this area, and the reciept clearly stated to go to the main entrance of Overland Park Regional Hospital, yet he still called. He had to have been looking right at us when he called from across the street. Seriously? Then, when he actually got here, he went to the front desk and had Security try to find us. He called me just fine from "across the street" but when he actually got here with the food, he suddenly couldn't call?
All in all, it was a truly disappointing transaction. Certainly not worth the $25 I gave the guy. It is frustrating to give that much money for the wrong food which arrived an hour late and cold. Especially with the "whatver" attitude we got from everyone involved.
I don't get too upset about food service, but this is just not like your store at all! we pretty much always have a good experience with you - even with errors, it is usually minor or fixed right away (lost /missing items and such) and not anything like today. This was just so disappointing.
