I ordered a pizza for myself via the Sarpino's website at approximately 12am Monday August, 11th. A confirmation email was sent to me to verify that my order had been received and accepted, and that they had received the payment from my bank account. As time passed and no pizza had arrived, I called my local Sarpino's (Riverwoods, IL) and was told they had decided to cancel my order because my house was too far for them to drive. When placing the order, the website clearly explained that my home address was in the vicinity necessary in order to place a successful order. I explained to the gentlemen on the phone that my bank account had already been charged, and because of that, I was expecting my pizza to be delivered. He told me no, your house is too far to drive. Sarpino's should NOT be taking ANY money from my bank account if the product is not going to delivered. I find this to be an unresolved issue, and due to this Sarpino's employee's actions, I feel like my money was stolen and that is not acceptable. The website should be updated and accurate in terms of where an acceptable delivery location is, and my bank account should not be getting charged under any circumstances without the product being delivered. My roommates and I order weekly pizzas from this Sarpino's Location (Riverwoods, IL) and for them to decide without my permission to cancel an order after taking my money is very unprofessional and ridiculous.
